The bands self description: " formed more or less in the end of 1999 -- some releases till now (not enough though) -- changing twice a guitarist -- meeting many lovely people -- having fun on some shows and tours around europe ... that's the whole story. not worth telling, but worth living it!" Their sound is along the lines of the breakneck insanity that Usurp Synapse, Jeromes Dream, and Page Ninety Nine brought to the mix in the late 90's. Crazy change ups, and guitar tones similiar to Daughters and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Being friends of react with protest records from the beginnings of the label, they contributed their crazy sounds to the first ever rwp release, the "about life in a dead world" compilation 12". also the second rwp release was done by louise cyphre, the amazing "wenn wir menschen" 7" showed the potential of the band. in the following releases they improved their style and after a short break they released in 2005 two of the best records of the year: the split 10" with la quiete, followed up by the split 9" with shikari(which were shikari last songs ever written as well!).

Charles Bronson was a prolific powerviolence band from Dekalb, Illinois, extant 1994 to 1997. Although they were often associated with the straight edge scene, only two of the members actually abstained from drug and alcohol use. Along with Los Crudos and The Locust, Charles Bronson are partially credited with an "artier" turn in the hardcore punk scene, as well as a revival of thrashcore.

Charles Bronson borrowed from the early powerviolence of Infest, who blended youth crew hardcore with the velocity and dissonance of thrashcore. Songs were very brief, and sometimes punctuated by samples taken from various media (including Charles Bronson films). Lyrically, the group tended towards satirical commentary on the hardcore punk scene. The group has been described as a "fast, screaming mess of tall, skinny guys with a lot to say (which you would only know if you read the liner notes)". The group was sometimes criticized for its conceptual take on hardcore and art school tendencies, maintaining a long-standing feud with Felix von Havoc of Code 13.

Mark McCoy went on to form the thrashcore group Das Oath, with Dutch musicians; Holy Molar, with members of The Locust; and Ancestors, a black metal project. Drummer Mike Sutfin later became an artist.

Album Description:
The album consists of two discs featuring the band's entire recorded repetoire, and was released under the 625 Thrashcore label.

Disc 1:
All of their excrutiating demo, singles, splits, compilation, EP, and who-knows-what-else tracks (96 in all), all done in chronological terror.
Disc 2:
21 additional tracks which, though previously unreleased, are every bit as pungent.

July 1998-January 2000
Index for Potential Suicide was formed in the summer of 1998 in Charleston, SC by Christopher Ashley of the noise/hardcore band Murder Weapon and Brian Cooper, Robert Findlater and Frank Whiteside of Intentional Resentment. The four’s love for noise and experimental music was the foundation for the band’s early material. As an experimental band with drum machines, samplers, synths, trumpet, etc. the band played shows and cleared rooms with Hail Mary, Milemarker, etc. and recorded a demo called “This Week’s Boycott.” The band then shifted to a more traditional “rock” line-up added Shawn Williams of Prevail on bass and recorded the “s/t” 7” after 3 practices, with Williams learning most of the basslines the morning of the record session. Two 7”s, a full length CD, LP, a compilation appearance, 2 tours, a cancelled tour and a broken down van saw the end of Index for Potential Suicide.

Members went on to form or play in Red Herring, The Avenging Disco Godfathers of Soul, The Disease and countless others.
